Seems like your boys checks notes Locke, must break checks notes a young girl named Terra from the Empires clutches. But judging by the trailer for the FF6 mobile PC port, it has a castle and mechs and snow. The dungeon may not have been fantastic but the jobs were. Now the only ‘old’ Final Fantasy I’ve played is FF7 on Switch, so FF1-6 are unknowns to me. V without the Sealed dungeon is so lacking in additional content, you basically have the 12 weapons, super bosses and the game is over. IV DS didn't have the dungeons but the gameplay was so different it felt like a new game (having actual proof that some special effect worked on enemies was probably the single biggest change that affected my way of playing FFIV if Im honest). IV's additional dungeon isnt peak FFIV but the GBA version allowed you to take discarded characters back so the experience was super fun instead of the fixed party you had at the end you could mix and match however you wanted. Rebirth dungeon in II was legit great and it was fun taking characters where you left them off when they died to level them up to be able to beat the Reborn Emperor.Īlso helps that FFII had the better soundtrack of the 2 so the experience was really elevated.

The extra dungeons kinda peaked with FFI&II to be honest,įFI was broken beyond belief so the extra dungeons broke the game even more but at least some bosses where bit hard (funnily enough Shinryu and Omega from FFV, the hardest of the 1st 6 FF if you ask me).
